Training scholarships for Townsville students

Great news! Townsville has been named as one of the regional centres included in the new Commonwealth Scholarships for Young Australians initative.

The program is designed to support young Australians to gain critical employability skills gained through Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications enabling them to enter and stay in the workforce.

Students may be eligible for up to $5,000 in scholarship money a year towards their qualifications and up to $3,000 towards an internship/work placement to progress their career.
