Manual handling of people refers to any activity requiring the use of force or effort by a person to lift, carry, lower, push, pull, support, move, hold or restrain another person. The mobility and manual handling of people is an important aspect of disability and aged care work. selectability Training is running both an accredited and non accredited (certificate of attendance) short course on the 15th of July 2019, for support workers, carers and aged care workers.
